
Fructooligosaccharide is a naturally occurring carbohydrate found in vegetables such as fresh onions and burdock. It contains about half the calories of sugar.
As a sugar substitute, use about 1 tablespoon (15g) per day. It can be added to tea, coffee, yogurt, milk, and various dishes.
This product is approved in Japan as a Foods for Specified Health Uses (FOSHU), formulated to help maintain a healthy digestive environment.
