First released in 1980, this regular-type shiso wakame furikake is inspired by the traditional food culture of the Hagi region in Yamaguchi Prefecture. In this area, finely chopped sun-dried wakame seaweed has long been enjoyed sprinkled over rice.
Following this tradition, this product is made with tender wakame seaweed that offers a soft texture with a pleasant bite, seasoned with red shiso, sesame, and bonito-based dashi. It is a soft-style seaweed furikake that highlights the natural flavor of its ingredients.
